The Protect and Restore Project
One of the biggest flaws in the cooperate Cannabis world right now is the amount of single-use plastic that gets distributed and disposed of on a daily basis, another huge problem with these single-use plastics is that many of them are non recyclable. An estimated 10,000 tons of non-recyclable plastics were brought to landfill in 2018, with that number doubling in 2019. I’m sure you can imagine the amount of waste that 2020 will bring! While companies rush and struggle to find a recyclable alternative, we at The Honest Cannabist have positioned our Trim & Jar Service as a clean and environmentally friendly alternative to help eliminate some of this waste. As much as this will help with protecting out planet we also thought this was a good opportunity to do our part to help restore our planet. With The Protect and Restore project we will take proceeds from every Trim & Jar Service and donate it to planting trees somewhere different every year!
